HDL-Hendry Ostomy Products in Lebanon

The HDL-Hendry system is built around a 100% hydrocolloid base with a printed cutting guide running from 5 to 70 mm, so a single wafer covers a wide range of stoma openings. The base is translucent, which means the skin underneath can be checked without lifting it — and removing a barrier just to look is itself one of the things that irritates skin.

Pouches come as a closed pouch in 60 mm, drainable pouches in 50, 60 and 70 mm — the 70 mm with a transparent front panel — and urostomy pouches in 50 and 60 mm with an anti-reflux valve. Closures are lock-and-roll, so there is no separate clip, and pouches carry odour-control filters.

Selected systems use a floating flange, which lets you couple the pouch without pressing hard against the abdomen. That matters more than it sounds — coupling pressure is uncomfortable for many patients, particularly soon after surgery.

HDL-Hendry bases and pouches use 50, 60 and 70 mm flanges. Hollister Conform 2 uses 45, 55 and 70 mm. Even where the number appears the same, the coupling designs differ, so base and pouch must always come from the same range.

Accessories are the exception. Barrier rings, paste, powder, protective wipes, adhesive removers and lubricating deodorant sit on the skin or inside the pouch, so Hollister Adapt accessories can be used with an HDL-Hendry system without any compatibility issue.
